In early 2013 HOVER was trying to land a multi-million dollar deal with one of the world's largest insurance companies, but they felt their pitch fell flat.
HOVER engaged RLP Media to dream up assets that would help them demonstrate this impact. In addition, they needed some fresh photo assets to help spice up their trade show booth and web properties. Our strategy was simple: focus on the emotional side of an insurance claim and impact HOVER's technology can have on the customer base of an insurer.
When disaster strikes, your life can be frozen in time, and it can take way longer than it should to get things moving again. One of the biggest hurdles for a policyholder while making an insurance claim is getting an accurate quote of the repair cost. This often involves an insurance company sending out an adjuster from their network. This seems easy enough, but during a natural disaster event, this process can take weeks or months. HOVER's software helps augment and speed up this process by allowing a policy holder to take photos and make a claim right on their app, leading to faster claim approvals. This helps differentiate HOVER from anything else in the market, as it helps insurance companies leave their policyholders feeling supported in a time of need. So we put together a video to show this impact.
The video was ultimately successful, helping HOVER land multiple large deals with two leading insurance carriers. In addition, the still assets allowed HOVER to move away from stock photography and achieve a more unique look across digital and their trade show assets.
